Gingival Biotype on Aesthetic Implant Zone: A Review

In the anterior region, dental implant treatment necessitates not only functional but also good aesthetic outcome. The gingival structure between the implant restoration and the neighboring natural dentition should be in harmony, balance, and continuity. In restoration and regenerative therapy gingival biotype plays an important part. Therefore, the identification of periodontal biotypes is important in clinical practice.
